Liam Mc Donnell CEO, dentsu Ireland

Liam Mc Donnell, CEO dentsu Ireland and company secretary of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.

Liam has worked in the industry for more than three decades. During that time he has worked for a number of leading agency groups including Saatchi & Saatchi, Omnicom as well as dentsu. He has directed, managed and planned campaigns for a wide range of leading Irish and international brands to deliver successful and often award winning campaigns. Liam was previously a board member and past President of the Institute of Advertising Practitioners and he is currently on the board of dentus UK & Ireland.

dentsu Ireland comprises a team of 217 people across its five operating companies, Carat, dentsu Creative Intelligence, DentsuX, iProspect and the Story Lab. Liam is married with three “almost” adult children and has held his current role since 2008.

Barry is a Global Award winning figurehead in the Events Industry. He is an international judge and speaker and is recognised as one of the best event producers in Europe. He has a passion for the industry and prides himself on continuously innovating, researching new technologies and executing creative event concepts.

Barry has built and heads up a strong team of 22 event professionals who work across a portfolio of blue chip clients delivering flawless events surpassing clients service expectations. He provides hands on leadership and strategic direction to all events and has the ability to troubleshoot on his feet.

Adrian Weckler is the Technology Editor of the Irish Independent and the Sunday Independent. The host of Ireland’s most listened-to technology podcast, The Big Tech Show, Adrian has risen to become the country’s most senior journalist in the sector, regularly appearing on national and international television and radio shows to interpret new trends.

Memme Onwudiwe EVP of Evisort & Co-Owner of the African Museum of the Metaverse

Memme is fascinated by AI, space law, the metaverse and innovation more generally on the African continent.

As a founding investor in blacksanta.eth Memme is co-Owner of the African Museum of the Metaverse which was built by his sister’s company NFTNFTNFT.io. He has spoken on many panels and more importantly Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces about the NFT economy and Metaverse realestate.

Memme helped to build Evisort, an AI company, from the Harvard Innovation Lab while in Law School, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Legal and Business Intelligence. He also lectures a course on Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Harvard Law School (HLS) with their CEO. As a student at HLS Memme founded/chaired Harvard’s Legal Technology Symposium and currently serves on the Advisory board of Innovation Law Club Africa.

Helen Beecher Group Digital Development Director, Omnicom Media Group

Helen is a passionate marketer with a focus on digital media. She worked for key domestic and well known international brands in a media sales role in both the Irish and UK markets including the Irish Times group, Yahoo! and Microsoft delivering creative solutions for brands across display, mobile, gaming and programmatic platforms.

Helen joined OMD six years ago as Head of Digital and progressed into an Omnicom Media Group role as Digital Development Director, responsible for delivering innovative datal led solutions to our clients.

Conor has a strong focus on the latest technology trends and is always thinking outside the box for events and tech experiences.

Rebecca comes with over 10 years of experience across international music and sporting events.

Her role in Verve is an integral one within the sponsorship team. Bethany O'Brien Production Director, Verve

Beth O’Brien is a Production Director based in the Verve GB office with over 8 years experience in events, sponsorship and brand activations. Beth started out in the film premiere industry, and has worked across brands such as Formula E, Barclays, Disney, Danone & LinkedIn.

Beth’s skill set lies in producing and delivering live, in real life projects and in more recent years virtual events too. Her passions lie in fan and consumer engagement and her curiosity for people and culture fuels her love of the events industry.
